About Common Laurels

Laurels are meant to be shared.

Our Story

In ancient Greece, a laurel wreath was placed on the head of a champion. It was the highest honor, and it belonged to one person.

We think that's only half the story.

Behind every win is someone who cheered, coached, taught, protected, or simply believed. And the people who are truly winning in life are usually the first ones clapping when someone else succeeds.

That's why we started Common Laurels. Victory isn't something to guard. It's something to share.

What We Believe

Someone else's win takes nothing away from you. There's no shortage of success to go around, and celebrating others doesn't make you smaller. It makes you part of something bigger.

Success is contagious. When you cheer for the people around you, you raise the level of everyone in the room, including yourself.

Where It Started

It started with one line: Winners like to see winners win.

Who Are You Cheering On?

Wear it for yourself. Give it to someone who deserves to hear it. Either way, the cheering starts with you.

Celebrate each other.

"Winners like to see winners win" started as something I said, long before it was ever on a shirt. Over the years I noticed that the most successful people I knew were also the most generous with their applause. They celebrated the people around them, and it never cost them a thing. Common Laurels is my way of putting that belief into the world and celebrating you.
